The “Apportionment (CI Detailed) Report” is based on information in a customer invoice in the accounting module. It provides insights into the fees apportioned for each invoice. You can filter the apportionment report by either “Invoice Date” or “Last Payment Date”. This report only filters for reports that are either awaiting payment or fully paid. Any credit notes applied will also be reflected.
To get the report to show apportioned fees for fully collected invoices paid across a specific period:
- Select the From Date and To Date
- Select “Payment Date” for the Date Filter
- Select “Paid” for the Invoice Status
- You may leave the remaining filters blank unless if you would like to further refine the result.
To get the report to show apportioned fees regardless of collection status:
- Select the From Date and To Date
- Select “Invoice Date” for the Date Filter
- Select “All” for the Invoice Status
- You may leave the remaining filters blank unless if you would like to further refine the result.
To get the report to show apportioned fees for fully collected invoices:
- Select the From Date and To Date
- Select “Invoice Date” for the Date Filter
- Select “Paid” for the Invoice Status
- You may leave the remaining filters blank unless if you would like to further refine the result.

Summation of professional fees in the customer invoice that is contributed by this user. This is only shown if you add timesheets to the billing request. |
Adjustment Amount |
This figure shows the mark up or mark down of fees attributed to this user. Calculation: final apportioned amount - original amount of professional fees. |
Final Apportioned Amount | This shows the final amount attributed to this user. |
% of Professional Fees |
This calculates the user contribution for the billing request based on the final apportioned amount. Calculation: final apportioned amount / professional fees amount in invoice. |
Credit Note Apportioned Amount | This shows the amount attributed to the user in a credit note. |
Net Apportioned Amount |
This shows the fin+al apportioned amount attributed to the user. Calculation: Final apportioned amount - credit note apportioned amount. |
